Urban Equities, Inc. is certified as a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE).
Through a network built over two decades, we have had the good fortune to both hire and interface with other qualified businesses that are certified as MBE or WBE. We understand the value-add that these companies represent for both government and corporate spend channels. Therefore, we seek opportunities to leverage our relationships.
From our success, we have wholeheartedly embraced the privilege of giving back to the communities that have supported us. Community Service is not only essential to our business; it is a direct link to our success.
In the past, to put a smile on the faces of kids, we have donated Christmas toys to both the Pediatric Units of St. Bernard Hospital and Provident Hospital, both located in Chicago.
We dedicate our efforts to local hiring initiatives by creating jobs for community residents.
We have turned our attention to AIDS Awareness Programs. AIDS/HIV is an epidemic in the United States, with particularly alarming impacts in African American communities. We have financially supported AIDS/HIV education & research at the pediatric ward of the Ruth M. Rothstein CORE Center – Cook County Health & Hospital Systems.
We have supported The Coalition for Improved Education in South Shore, a Chicago not-for-profit whose tireless work has left an indelible footprint in Chicago’s communities.
